Francisca Nyamekye Karikari  is the Chief Executive Officer of LIBRO as well as a member of the Board of Directors and head of the management team.

An experienced manager, insurance professional, risk manager and a financial advisor. She has used her entrepreneurial talent and strength to help make society a better place for people, especially women, to live in. She is an accomplished leader with a track record of managing companies to achieve phenomenal growth. She brought a great mix of leadership, inspiration, operational experience, technical breadth and depth, passionate professionalism for the exponential growth of all the companies she founded and managed. She has very rich experience in the insurance industry that spans three decades.

Mrs. Karikari was a part-time lecturer at the Ghana Insurance College and has lectured there from the inception of the College in 2007. She was also a part-time lecturer at the Management Development and Productivity Institute in Accra, Ghana. She has been recognized with many awards for her distinguished contributions to the economy. On 12th March 2021 she was honored as the Baroness of the Corporate space in the financial Sector in Ghana. She is a recipient of the prestigious Nobles International Award by the West Africa Nobles Forum. She was also rewarded by The Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network (GWIIN) based in the UK, in collaboration with Ghana’s Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs. She was awarded the Gold Quality Award of Excellence for Women Empowerment in Ghana at the 5th Fashion & Life International Conference and Achievements Awards.

With extensive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning, Mrs. Ruth K. Sarkodie-Mensah is a results-driven data professional with a global perspective. Having worked across diverse industries in both Ghana and the United Kingdom, Ruth excels in extracting meaningful insights from complex datasets to drive strategic business decisions.

Her expertise spans consumer insights, stakeholder collaboration, and business process modelling, combined with advanced technical proficiency. She specializes in crafting interactive dashboards and reports that enhance data-driven decision-making while maintaining a strong commitment to data governance and business ethics.

Currently serving as a Senior Business Analyst at Liberty Insurance Brokers in Ghana, Ruth applies her analytical skills to financial forecasting, efficiency optimization, and anti-money laundering initiatives. Prior to this, she made a significant impact as a Business Intelligence Analyst at SAGA PLC, UK, where she led projects streamlining customer data and improving strategic insights. Her tenure at Vodafone Ghana further solidified her skills in reporting, automation, and data-driven marketing strategies.

Blessing Siaw-Wiafe

Accounts and Compliance Manager

Blessing is the Accounts and Compliance Manager of Liberty Insurance Brokers Ltd. She is a result driven individual with strong accounting and financial skills. Blessing has a personality that promotes the development of a good rapport with clients since customer satisfaction is one of our core values as a company.

She studied BSC. Business Administration (Accounting Option) at the University of Ghana Business School, Legon and had her Master’s Degree in the same school.Blessing is licensed by the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a Fund Manager’s Representative. Prior to working with Liberty Insurance Brokers Ltd, Blessing has had series of internships and experience with Pannel Kerr Foster, Prime Insurance Company, Water Resources Commission among others.

Also, Blessing is an avid professional photographer and drone pilot. Currently, Blessing’s role at Liberty Insurance Brokers Ltd is to ensure proper book keeping records, financial management, and compliance reporting.

Shitu Hillary Latif

Risk Manager /Compliance and Reporting Officer (AMLRO)

Shitu Hillary Latif is currently the AML/CFT Compliance and Reporting (AMLRO) of Liberty Insurance Brokers. Latif is a dynamic and results-driven finance and capital markets professional with over 7 years of progressive experience in investment analysis, compliance, client relationship management, and financial operations. Adept at delivering strategic financial solutions tailored to individual and institutional client needs, with a proven track record of strengthening client relationships and improving service delivery through digital engagement and personalized financial advisory.

He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, a Securities Industry Certification from the Ghana Investment and Securities Institute, and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Professional Studies, Accra. His solid academic background is complemented by hands-on experience across finance, procurement, and public sector accounting, giving him a well-rounded perspective of the financial ecosystem.

Latif’s core role is to safeguard the operational integrity of Liberty Insurance Brokers’s policies, procedures, internal controls in conformity to applicable legislation and regulatory requirements. Hillary's core strengths lie in blending analytical rigor with client-centric solutions, educating clients on digital financial tools, and fostering operational efficiency through collaborative teamwork.

Joseph Mbrokoh-Ewoal

Director/Company Secretary

Joseph Mbrokoh-Ewoal who is also a Director of Surfline holds directorship positions with other companies such as Woodfields Energy Resources Limited, Cirrus Oil Services Limited (a petroleum downstream distribution company), Hayfords Law Company (a law Firm), Upswing Music Company Limited (a music production and equipment supply company), Resource Base International (an indigenous Ghanaian Upstream E&P company) and Elizabeth Hemans Foundation (a non-profit organization).

He is a lawyer by profession and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association as well as the International Bar Association. He is a graduate of the University of Ghana, University of Dundee and a certificate holder in Petroleum Economics from the College of Petroleum Studies, Oxford University. He has varied executive level in experience in Finance, Business Management, Real Estate and Energy businesses.
